La Passerelle is a shelter in Port-Louis for homeless male adults having difficulties integrating society.  It provides life skills training, shelter and moral support to its residents.

In line with its objective of empowering people, in October 2018, the Rotary Club of Grand Bay donated Rs20,700 for the purchase of 92 hens.  Rearing and breeding the hens for eggs positively influence the residents into more responsible members of society.
