Rotary traces its history back to 1905 when the organisation was founded and since then, clubs have been formed around the world.
The Rotary Club of Grand Baie forms part of this international organisation of more than 31,000 clubs in some 166 countries.
Ever since it was chartered in 1981, the members have been fully active, serving the community through projects in various fields including humanitarian and vocational projects.

The most important project of the year, the annual event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and will this year hosts over 80 participants from both local and foreign universities and institutions.
